2591 <br />MEETING OF JULY 27, 1967 <br />The regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. with the following members <br />presents Mayor Nilsen, Clerk Strandquist, Councilmen Stone and Black. <br />Warkentien was present after 9:30 P.M, Also present were Treasurer Olsen, <br />Engineer Lemberg and Attorney Kyle. <br />Minutes: Stone moved, seconded by Black that the minutes of the <br />meeting of July 13, 1967 be approved as submitted. Ayess <br />A11. Nays:, None. Motion was carried. <br />License Renewals Having met the requirements, it was moved by Strandquist, <br />Cigarettes: seconded by Stone and duly carried that the following be <br />issued Licenses to Se11 at Retail Cigarettes, Cigarette <br />Papers and Cigarette Wrappers. <br />Agnes G. Junkie State Fair Grounds <br />St. Paul Candy & Tobacco for Baden's Pure Oil Service <br />1325 West Larpenteur Avenue <br />Gasoline Filling Having met the requirements, it was moved by Nilsen, <br />Stations seconded by Black and duly carried that the following be <br />issued License to Operate a Gasoline Filling Station. <br />Superior "l~00" Oil Company for Gulf Oi.l Station <br />1670 North Snelling Avenue. <br />Sanitary Sewer Trouble Engineer Lembeig's letter of July 27, 1967 concerning <br />1776 Simpson Street: trouble with sanitary sewer service line at the <br />Steinkraus' residence, 1776 Simpson Street stated that <br />roots had enter®d service at two points. Upon Lemberg's <br />recommendation, Strandquist moved, seconded by Black <br />that the Village and the property owner divide the cost <br />of repair evenly. Ayess A11. Nays: None. Motion <br />was carried. <br />Variance Appli- Black introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />cation -150l~ W. adoptions <br />Towa Avenue: <br />WHEREAS, the Sussel Company on behalf of Alfred J. <br />Fleury has made an application for conditional use, and <br />filed the same with the Zoning Administrator for the Village <br />of Falcon Heights along with the fee of $5.00 and <br />WHEREAS, application is made to allow for building of <br />a one story detached double garage two feet from rear <br />property line and two feet from side property line, and <br />WHEREAS, the matter has been referred to the Planning <br />Commission for the Village of Falcon Heights, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended that <br />said application be granted, <br />NQW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE COUNCIL of <br />the Village of Falcon Heights grants the conditional use <br />
