MEETING OF DECEMBER ].1.~, 1967 <br />The regular meeting was called to order at 7s30 P.M. with the following <br />members presents Acting Mayor Warkentien, Counc3.lmen Stone and Black. <br />Absents Mayor Nilsen and Clerk Strandquigt. Also present were Treasurer <br />Olsen and_Engineer Lemberg. _ . <br />Minutest -Stone moved, seconded by Black that the minutes of the <br />meeting of November 21~ 1967 be approved. Ayess All. <br />Nays: None. Motion was carried. <br /> Correspondences <br /> Conference for Announcement was received from League of Minnesota <br /> Newly Elected Municipalities concerning the annual conference for new <br /> Mayors and mayors and councilmen which will be held all day on <br /> Councilmens January 6, 1968. Mayor-elect Warkentien, Councilman <br /> Stone and Treasurer Olsen will attend. <br /> Proposed Sanitary Letter dated December 8, 1967 from Attorney Kyle stated <br /> Sewer Service in part that St. Paul City Council has not yet passed <br /> Agreements , to allow the city and various <br />the required ordinance <br /> . <br />suburbs to contract for sanitary sewer services. In all <br /> w ~ probability village of Falcon Heights will not be able <br /> to effect any changes for sewer service rates on January <br /> 1, 1968. <br /> Public Affairs The Metr©politan Section of the League of Minnesota <br /> Directorys Municipalities enclosed several copies of `the Public <br /> Affairs'Directory for the Twin Cities area published by <br /> the Citizens League. <br /> Minnesota Motor The Department of Highway sent copy of new printing <br /> Vehicle and of Minnesota Mutor,Vehicle and Traffic Laws, Motor <br /> Traffic Laws Vehicle Registration Laws and Motor Carrier Laws revised <br /> _ to include amendments... and additions enacted by the 1967 <br /> legislature. <br /> Usage ClassificationData Processing Department of Ramsey County sent Usage <br /> Report on Real Classification Report on Real Property - Ramsey County, <br /> Pr®pertys ~ Minnesota as of January 2, 1968• <br /> Workments Compen- Bituminous Casualty Corporation form letter to ~forkmen~s <br /> cation Insurance - Compensation Policyholders« was concerning reimbursement <br /> Physically from Special Compensation Fund for injuries suffered by <br /> Impaired Employees: physically impaired employees. <br /> Improvement 67-3 - ~ Letter of December 8, 1967 from Brad Lemberg, Engineer, <br /> Aunkley Surfacing transmitted final Request for Payment for the Dunkley <br /> Companys Surfacing Company, Inc. for the 1967 street improvement <br /> _ and curb and gutter. and sidewalk projects. Comparison <br /> of bid prices and final actual contract amounts were given <br /> 3.n said letter. Engineer Lemberg recommended that <br /> pro3eet be accepted and that final payment be mad®. <br /> Stone moved, seconded by Black that upon recommendation <br /> of Engineer, the Second and Final Request for Payment in <br /> the amount of ~13,554.81~ be authorized.
