1621 <br />REGULAR MEETING JULY 27th, 1961. <br />Meeting was called to order at 7s00 P. M., the following Council Members <br />being presents Harold C. Nilsen, Mayor; George Shaver, Trustee; Willis <br />Warkentien, Trustee. Also present were Wm. E. Olsen, Treasurer; Brad <br />Lemberg, Engineer and Ethel E. White, Deputy Clerk and Deputy Treasurer. <br />Absent, Paul Coppini, Trustee. <br />The Minutes of the July 13th meeting were approved as submitted. <br />Univ. of Minn. After discussion, it was moved by Shavor, seconded by <br />Aud. Sub- Mortensen and unanimously voted that the following <br />Division #90 resolution be adopted: <br />WHEREAS The University of Minnesc>ta has submitted a <br />proposed Auditor's Plat for Grove East to the Village <br />Council and Planning Commission for Falcon Heights for <br />review, recom^~endation and information, and <br />WHEREAS The University of Minnesota, by it's Attorney, <br />Joel Tierney, has appeared before the Village Council <br />and explained the purpose and intent of the University <br />of Minnesota in requesting an Auditor's Plat of said <br />Grove East <br />NOW, TUEREFORE, F3E IT RESOLVED that the Village Council <br />of Falcon Heights has no objection to the proposed <br />Auditor's Plat as submitted and explained by the <br />University of Minnesota. <br />Snelling-Idaho After discussion, it was moved by Shaver, seconded by <br />Playground Warkentien and unanimously voted to approve the following <br />Change Order Change Order: <br />Change Order No. 2, Armor-Coat Finishing Company, Snelling- <br />Idaho Playground - The hydrant to be moved to a new loca- <br />tion on~~Iowa Avenue shall be deleted from the project -- <br />Deducts 1 -- Relocate existing. hydrant, lump sum ~3~0.00. <br />Arena Avenue After discussion, it was moved by Warkentien, seconded by <br />Change Order Shaver and unanimously voted to approve the following <br />Change Orders <br />Change Orders Project Arena Ave. MSA Project - 60l~l~2 SA. <br />Owner, Village of Falcon Heights. Contractor, C. S. <br />McCrossen, Inc. Date July 11, 19b1. Change Order No. is <br />Description: In order to reduce the cost of the project to <br />meet the funds available, the following bid items shall be <br />changed or omitted from the total projects <br />2531 Substitute B618 Curb and Gutter for B62l~ Curb and <br />Gutter -- deduct 50¢ per lineal foot. Total deduct for <br />738' at 50¢ per lineal foot X369.00 <br />Omit the following items: <br />
