MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />APRIL 23, 1986 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order <br />at 7:00 p.m. by Baldwin. <br />PRESENT <br />Baldwin, Ciernia, Chenoweth and Hard. Also present were Barnes and <br />Schunicht. <br />ABSENT <br />Wallin (arrived later). <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />Ciernia moved, seconded by Chenoweth, approval of the Consent Agenda. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />MINUTES OF APRIL 9, 1986 APPROVED <br />Baldwin moved, seconded by Hard, approval of the Minutes of April 9, <br />1986. Motion carried unanimously. <br />BULLSEYE GOLF, 1557 W. LARPENTEUR, REQUEST TO ERECT A SALE TENT APPROVED <br />Council briefly discussed a request from Dennis Hunt, Buullseye Golf, to <br />erect a tent for the purpose of holding a golf sale. Mr. Hunt explained <br />the sale will be held May 23 through May 26 during the following hours: <br />Friday 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, Sunday, and Monday 10:00 a.m. to <br />6:00 p.m., and that there will be an off-duty police officer on the site <br />Friday and Saturday. Chenoweth moved, seconded by Hard, approval of the <br />request contingent upon approval by the State Highway Department as the <br />tent will be on State right-of-way. Motion carried unanimously. <br />BULLSEYE GOLF, 1557 W. LARPENTEUR, GRANTED PERMISSION FOR SIDEWALK SALE <br /> <br />Hard moved, seconded by Chenoweth, approval oP Mr. Hunt's request for <br />permission to hold a sidewalk sale for the merchants in Bullseye Plaza <br />July 10 through July 12, 1986. Motion carried unanimously. <br />BULLSEYE GOLF REQUEST FOR PERMANENT CONDITIONAL USE FOR GOLF-O-MAT <br />MACHINES REFERRED TO PLANNING COMMISSION, PUBLIC HEARING SET FOR 7:15 <br />P.M., MAY 28, 1986 <br />Following the discussion Baldwin moved, seconded by Chenoweth, extension <br />of the present temporary conditional use to May 30, 1986, referral of the <br />conditional use request to the Planning Commission, and setting a public <br />hearing for 7:15 p.m., May 28, 1986. Motion carried unanimously. <br />The Planning Commission will be informed that Council would consider the <br />conditional use if the matter may be reevaluated annually, preferably in <br />April. <br />REQUEST FROM DAVID H. OLSON, OWNER OF PROPERTY AT 2061 W. LARPENTEUR, TO <br />PURCHASE A 20 FOOT STRIP OF CITY PROPERTY - ALSO VARIANCE REQUESTS <br />David H. Olson, owner of the property at 2061 W. Larpenteur presented a <br />preliminary plan for a two story brick office building on that site, and <br />requested that Council consider selling a 20' strip of city property <br />- - ~ 36 <br />
