MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MAY 14, 1986 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order <br />at 7:00 p.m. by Baldwin. <br />PRESENT <br />All members present, Baldwin, Chenoweth, Wallin, Hard, and Ciernia. Also <br />present were Barnes, Schunieht and Schroeder <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />Baldwin moved, seconded by Wallin, approval of the Consent Agenda. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />MINUTES OF APRIL 23, 1986 APPROVED <br />Ciernia moved, seconded by Hard, approval of the Minutes of April 23, <br />1986. Motion carried unanimously. <br />VARIANCE FOR FENCE GRANTED TO GEORGE H. GREGORY, 1687 W. LARPENTEUR <br />Council briefly discussed a variance request from George H. Gregory, 1687 <br />W. Larpenteur, to construct a 6 foot high fence between the residence at <br />the parking area of the apartments on Fry Street. Mr. Gregory indicated <br />the owner of the apartments did not seem to ob~eet to the fence and may <br />participate in the cost of construction. Hard moved, seconded by <br />Chenoweth, approval of the variance as recommended by the Planning <br />Commission. Motion carried unanimously. <br />1986 SEALCOATING BIDS TO BE OPENED 6/11/86, 11:00 A.M. - RESOLUTION <br />R-86-19 <br />Schunieht presented information and estimated cost ($50,000) for patching <br />and sealcoating the northeast quadrant oP the city, after which Hard <br />moved, seconded by Ciernia, adoption of Resolution R-86-19. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-86-19 <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, <br />APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AND AUTHORIZING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR SEALCOATING THE NORTHEAST QUADRANT <br />OF THE CITY FALCON HEIGHTS <br />BOUNDARY CHANGES BETWEEN PRECINCTS 1 AND 2 APPROVED - RESOLUTION R-86-20 <br />Council reviewed the proposed resolution changing precinct boundaries as <br />requested by State Planning Agency and Census Bureau, in order that the <br />boundary will follow physical features. Chenoweth moved, seconded by <br />Hard, adoption of Resolution R-86-20. Motion carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-86-20 <br />A RESOLUTION RELATING TO CHANGE IN THE PRECINCT BOUNDARIES <br />BETWEEN PRECINCT NUMBER ONE AND PRECINCT NUMBER FOUR <br />MAY 12TH DECLARED FAMILY EDUCATION WEEK - RESOLUTION R-86-21 <br />~Q <br />Ciernia moved, seconded by Chenoweth, adoption of Resolution R-86-21. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />
