MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 12, 1986 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order <br />at 7:00 P.M. by Baldwin. <br />PRESENT: <br />Baldwin, Chenoweth, Hard, and Ciernia. Also present were Barnes and <br />Schroeder. <br />ABSENT: <br />Wallin. <br />ADDENDUM TO AGENDA <br />Hard moved, seconded by Ciernia, the addition of item 5 (1), Letter from <br />John Burkard, 1717 Pascal, Requesting Amendment of The Zoning Code to <br />Allow Automobile Restoration. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />Ciernia moved, seconded by Hard, approval of the Consent Agenda with the <br />deletion of the Bonestroo Statement. Motion carried unanimously. <br />MINUTES OF OCTOBER 22, 1986 APPROVED <br />Chenoweth moved, seconded by Hard, approval of the Minutes of October 22, <br />1986. Motion carried unanimously. <br />WALLIN ARRIVES <br />Wallin arrived at 7:08 P.M. <br />BULLSEYE GOLF WILL NOT BE REQUIRED TO REMOVE SNOW FROM SIDEWALK BETWEEN <br />ENTRANCES <br />Dennis Hunt, Bullseye Golf, explained it is very difficult to keep the <br />sidewalk shoveled along the parking lot area between the entrances/exits <br />of his parking lot as the County snowplows throw the snow back on the <br />walks, and requested Council not require shoveling of that area. <br />Following a short discussion, Chenoweth moved, seconded by Wallin, <br />allowing snow removal as proposed in Mr. Hunt's drawing with the <br />understanding the City may ask for additional removal if snow piling <br />becomes a hazard. Motion carried unanimously. <br />WARMING HOUSE AT UNIVERSITY GROVE RINK TO BE DESTROYED <br />Ciernia informed the Park and Recreation Commission concurred with the <br />report from the building inspector and fire marshal relating to the <br />condition of the Grove warming house and recommended the structure be <br />dismantled. Council also concurred, but will discuss the matter at a <br />later meeting after the Grove Association has notified Grove residents. <br />7:15 P.M. - PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LIQUOR CODE AMENDMENT <br />At 7:15 P.M. Baldwin opened the public hearing and presented the Affidavit <br />of Publication. Schroeder explained the amendment is necessary to be in <br />compliance with newly adopted State Statutes and that he has drafted a <br />letter to the Attorney General requesting an opinion on the new <br />~~ <br />
