MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JULY 22, 1987 <br />Baldwin opened the meeting at 7:00 P.M. <br />PRESENT <br />Baldwin, Chenoweth, Ciernia, and Wallin. Also present were Wiessner and <br />Schroeder <br />ABSENT <br />Hard. <br />MINUTES OF JULY 8, 1987 APPROVED <br />Wallin moved, seconded by Baldwin, approval of the July 8, 1987 Minutes. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />ADDENDUM TO AGENDA <br />Wallin moved, seconded by Ciernia, addition of the following items to the <br />Agenda: (1) Item E(11), Business Licenses for Rock-A-Fellas, 1544 W. <br />Larpenteur, and (2) Item F(7) Underground Sprinkler System/Landscaping at <br />Bullseye Center. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />1. Fire and Ambulance Reports <br />2. Payroll 7/1/87 - 7/15/87 -$9,141.06 <br />3. Licenses <br />Wallin moved, seconded by Chenoweth, approval of the consent agenda. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />7:05 P.M. - HEARING ON VACATION OF ALLEY NORTH OF LARPENTEUR, PASCAL TO <br />HOLTON <br />Baldwin opened the hearing at 7:05 P.M. and presented the Affidavit of <br />Publication. Robert D. Bentson, 1701 Holton, the resident who has been <br />using a portion of the alley for garage access and who requested council <br />consider vacating the alley, was present but had no comments. There being <br />no others wishing to be heard, Baldwin closed the hearing at 7:09 P.M. <br />Cierna explained he and Park and Recreation Director Pat Bush had <br />discussed whether or not the alley would be desirable for a bike/hiking <br />path, and concurred it was not a good area for a bike path. Wallin moved, <br />seconded by Chenoweth, adoption of Resolution R87-29, vacating the alley <br />with the understanding that the alley would be equally apportioned between <br />the abuting property owners.
