Rowley, Deputy Clerk <br />Ralph Van Hoven, Treasurer <br />Absent: John Rysgaard, Trustee <br />The meeting was caned to order by President Matteson at 7:30 p. m. The minutes of the <br />meetings of May,2l~, May 31, and June 7 were read and approved. <br />Public Fxaminer~s Report Ralph Van Hoven reported he had received from the Public <br />Examiner a report on the division and settlement of funds <br />between the Town of Rose and the Village of Lauderdale. <br />Bills: Deputy Clerk Rowley presented the following bills: <br />May 31 - Obercraft, 1,000 checks ~ 111..00 <br />Obercraft, 1,000 sets receipts 2l~.00 <br />May 31 - Clyde J. Stewart b.88 <br />June 1, Falcon Hts. Hdwe. paint for Fire Dept 6.8l1 <br />May 20, Northwest Publications for bids on <br />fire station and village hall 6.30 <br />May 18, Northwest Publications - Ordinance ~1 32.70 <br />May 11 Electric Blue Print 11.52 <br />Dept. of Public Safety for St. Paul Fire Dept. <br />standby charge for June 200.00 <br />June 8 Frank Graham - Verified bill of St.Paul <br />Legal Ledger covering publication and <br />extra copies of Ordinance ~2 on June 3 52.55 <br />sad publication and extra copies of <br />Ordinance ~3 on June !~ 67.60 <br />Art Lindig made a motion, seconded by George Shavor, that <br />the bills be paid. Motion carried. <br />Public Safety George Shavor recommended and so moved that the following <br />Committee committee by appointed to work on public safety for the <br />Village: <br />Joe Rechtiene, Chairman <br />Charles Stearns <br />George Geis <br />The motion was seconded by Art Lindig and carried. <br />Discussion with Matteson reported that Mr. ~Pilson had called him regarding <br />llfilson the village purchasing. approximately 7 lots located near <br />Snelling and Hoyt. Matteson advised him that there were <br />several questions the Council wished to discuss with him <br />and asked if he would attend the next meeting of the <br />Council. He was agreeable. It was decided that Mr. <br />Krampton of the County Surveyoris office should also be <br />asked to attend the next meeting. <br />Steffnitz~ Petition Seaborn reported that Mr. Steffnitz had called him re- <br />garding his petition for re-zoning.
