Seconded by Shavor and <br />so ordered. <br />Village Rekstad reported on contacting the State Highway Department and <br />property, receiving their approval oP putting in sumps or dry wells which <br />Snelling & are desirable from a playground standpoint. It was agreed to <br />Arona have Rekstad develop plan and details on grading prop erty and on <br />installation of one dry well, the plan to show two dry wells, one <br />on Arona and one on the Snelling Drive side. <br />Root Beer Application of Otto R. Walt er to operate a Root Beer stand at <br />stand license the corner of Larpenteur and Snelling Avenues fcr four months <br />application. in 1951 was considered. Shavor moved that the applicati®n be <br />referred to Sanitary Commissioner Lindig for checking, including <br />check on payment of personal property taae~nd with regard to <br />oonditions .of operation of the stand. <br />Wilson petition Attorney Graham's letter relative to ohecking the petition <br />vacate alleys prepared by Mr. Filson for vacating alleys in Blocks 8, 9 and <br /> 10 of Northome Second Addition, was read and the matter fully <br /> discussed. Thereupon, Henry moved that the hearin g on said <br /> petition be set P©r Tuesday, June 26, 1951, at 8:00 PM, at the <br /> Villa ge Hall, and that the notice of hearing be published twice <br /> in The Rose Tribune, on May 31 and June ?, 1951, and that the <br /> Clerk post copies of the notice and of the petition. at the three <br /> posting places. Seoonded by Shavor and carried by unanimous vote. <br />Ordinance Following discussion by the Council, Stewart moved the adoption <br />No. 13 of - ORDINANCE N0. 13, AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DEPOSITING, <br /> THR0~IING, SCATTERING OR LEAVING OF GARBAGE OR REFUSE UPON STREETS, <br /> 9LI,E7~S, PARKII~AYS OR VACANT LOTS; THE BURNING OF ANY FIRE UPON <br />
