8.0 LIGHTING <br />8.1 In addition to the light ordinance Section 90-239, all lighting for a development or building <br />shall be architecturally compatible with the development or building. <br />8.2 Lighting within parking lot shall include cut-off fixtures with the bulb recessed within the fix- <br />ture. An example is a shoe -box style lighting fixture. The light pole and fixture shall not be ad- <br />justable <br />8.3 Wall mounted lighting shall be used on building fronts to a illuminate entry points and archi- <br />tectural features. <br />Don't Do This: <br />This light pole has an adjustable head and is not a <br />downcast fixture. <br />Do This: <br />This light pole is a downcast shoebox fixture with a re- <br />cessed bulb. This is a good example of parking lot <br />lighting. <br />This light is wall mounted and is not a downcast fixture <br />with a recessed bulb. <br />Both of these lights are good examples of wall mounted <br />fixtures. <br />
