The wetland credits are planned to be certified after monitoring over five years. <br />WCA rules allow the LGU to approve wetland replacements in advance of the credits being <br />available when an escrow is provided to the City to be used to purchase wetland bank credits in <br />the event the credits are not certified. The applicant is required to provide an escrow to the City <br />in the amount of $10,150.00 as a condition of approval for the development. The proposed <br />wetland replacement plan is in accordance with the replacement standards under MN Rules <br />8420. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the wetland replacement plan for Frenchman <br />Place Yd Addition. <br />Approve Sale of 2000 Chew 2500 Fire Department Truck <br />Approved at the February 1, 2016 City Council meeting was the advertisement for the sale of the <br />2000 Chevrolet 2500 Fire Department truck through a sealed bid process. Staff is pleased to <br />inform the Council that a high bid of $7,351.00 was submitted by Stanley Johnson of Clarissa, <br />MN. A total of nine bids were received with the second highest bid being $6,801.00. Adoption <br />of the Consent Agenda approved the sale of the 2000 Chevrolet 2500 Fire Department truck to <br />Stanley Johnson for the amount of $7,351.00. <br />Approve Sale of 2003 Chew 1500 Engineering Truck <br />Approved at the February 1, 2016 City Council meeting was the advertisement for the sale of the <br />2003 Chevrolet 1500 Engineering Department truck through a sealed bid process. Staff is <br />pleased to inform the Council that a high bid of $4,050.00 was submitted by Bob's Auto Ranch <br />of Lino Lakes. A total of 2 bids were received. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the <br />sale of the 2003 Chevrolet 1500 Engineering Department truck to Bob's Auto Ranch for the <br />amount of $4,050.00. <br />Approve Purchase of 2016 F150 Building Department Truck <br />Included in the City's 2016 General Budget is funding for the replacement of the Building <br />Department's 1/2 ton pickup truck. This truck would replace the department's aging 2006 <br />Chevrolet 1500. Midway Ford has been awarded the contract with the State of Minnesota to <br />supply 1/2 ton Ford pickup trucks. A price was quoted by Midway to supply a 2016 Ford F150 <br />4x4 extended cab. This truck is very similar to the current truck being driven by the Building <br />Department and is priced at $29,119.24 (includes tax and license) as allowed through the <br />Cooperative Purchasing Venture with the State of Minnesota. Adoption of the Consent Agenda <br />approved the purchase of the 1/2 ton truck from Midway Ford through the State of Minnesota <br />Cooperative Purchasing Venture for a price of $29,119.24. <br />Approve Hiring Bryan Carlson as Part-time Video Technician <br />Bryan Carlson has submitted his application for employment for the part time position as an <br />audio/video technician to film and record City Council and Planning Commission meetings as <br />needed. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the hiring of Bryan Carlson at the rate of <br />$12/hour beginning on March 3, 2016. <br />
