G.5 Approve Personnel Policy Amendment to Include Fire Department Data and Social <br />Media Policy <br />The Hugo Fire Department is requesting to include a policy in the City Employee Personnel <br />Policy to address the use of data by members of the department on duty, or off duty if their <br />position allows access not given to the public. This policy prohibits photographs, recordings, etc. <br />from being shared on social media or otherwise, unless approved by the Fire Chief. This also <br />addresses the personal positing on social media by fire department members. Fire Chief Kevin <br />Colvard recommends Council approve the Fire Department Data and Social Media Policy. <br />G.6 Approve Renewal of 2 a.m. Closing Time for Sal's Angus Grill <br />Sal's Angus Grill, 12010 Keystone Avenue North, has applied for renewal of its 2:00 a.m. closing <br />time license. City staff has reviewed the application and found it to be satisfactorily complete. <br />Staff recommends approval of the renewal of the 2:00 a.m. closing time for Sal's Angus Grill. <br />G.7 Approve Special Event Permit for Blue Heron Grill Outdoor Tent Party on June 24 & 25 <br />The Blue Heron Grill, 14725 Victor Hugo Boulevard, has submitted an application for a Special <br />Event Permit for outdoor concerts in the evenings on Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25. This <br />event requires Special Event Permit approval by Council because the event is expected to draw <br />approximately 500 people each night, alcohol will be sold and served, and there will be an <br />amplified sound system. The event will be conducted the same as in the past years. Staff <br />recommends Council approve the Special Event Permit for the Blue Heron Grill for their outdoor <br />tent party on June 24 and 25, 2016. <br />G.8 Approve Special Event Permit for Oneka Elementary 5K Color Run on May 7, 2016 <br />Oneka Elementary has submitted a Special Event Permit application for approval of a 5K Color <br />Run on Saturday, May 7, 2016. This event requires a Special Event Permit approved by Council <br />because the event is expected to draw between 500-700 participants and will include the use of <br />City trail/sidewalks/streets. Oneka Parkway will be closed for the duration of the event, and the <br />applicant has worked with the City and Washington County Sheriff's Department on the details. <br />This event was held last year and was very successful. Staff recommends Council approve the <br />Special Event Permit for the Oneka Elementary 5K Color Run on May 7, 2016. <br />G.9 Approve Letter to the Carnelian -Marine St. Croix Watershed District <br />At their April 4, 2016 meeting, the Council considered the request of Washington County for <br />nominees to the Carnelian -Marine St. Croix Watershed District and/or endorsement of three <br />Board Managers whose terms expire on June 21, 2106. Council had concerns regarding the <br />Watershed District and directed staff to draft a letter to the County. Staff recommends Council <br />approve the draft letter to the Carnelian -Marine St. Croix Watershed District. <br />H. Update on Stormwater Grants <br />Staff would like to provide Council an update on recent stormwater grants. <br />
