Approve Realtor Contract to Broker/Market the City Owned Property At its July 15, 2013 meeting, the City Council authorized the EDA to send out RFQ's for commercial realtors to market the City owned properties on Highway 61. In late August, the RFQ's were sent out for proposals. The EDA received four proposals and, after evaluation, chose to interview two commercial realtor teams. After conducting the interviews at its February 11, 2014 meeting, the EDA recommended High Pointe Realty and Wakota Commercial Advisors as the realtors to market the City owned property in downtown. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the contract between the City and the realtors, subject to the City Attorney's approval. Resolution Approving Advertisement for Bids for 165' Street Proiect At its March 17, 2014 meeting, the Council approved the resolution ordering the 165th Street Improvement Project and the preparation of plans and specifications. This is a mill and overlay project for 165th Street and Ingersoll Avenue between TH61 and CSAH 4. This item was removed from the Consent Agenda and will be considered at the April 21, 2014 meeting. Approve Sale of 2004 Sterling Plow Truck Approved at the November 18, 2013 City Council meeting was the purchase of a 2015 Mack plow truck for the Public Works Department. This truck replaced the aging 2004 Sterling single axle plow truck (204-04). Also at that meeting, Council authorized staff to advertise and hold a sealed bid opening for the sale of the 2004 Sterling plow truck. Staff was pleased to inform the Council that a high bid of $48,751.00 was submitted by the City of Freeport, MN. This was removed from the Consent Agenda by Mayor Weidt to allow Public Works Director Scott Anderson to provide further background on the sale of the truck. Weidt made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the sale of the 2004 Sterling Plow truck to the City of Freeport, MN for the amount of $48,751.00. All Ayes. Motion carried. Approve Award of Bid for the 2014 Dust Control Proiect At its February 3, 2014 meeting, the Hugo City Council authorized City staff to advertise and receive bids for the 2014 dust control project. Bids were received and opened on March 27, 2014 for this contract. Public Works Director Scott Anderson explained that dust control is applied to all of the gravel roads, and they have received positive feedback from residents. Hass made motion, Bronk seconded, to award the dust control contract to Envirotech, Inc to apply Calcium Chloride at $.917 per gallon. All Ayes. Motion carried.
