Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for May 5, 2014 <br />Page 7 of 8 <br />Update on the Yellow Ribbon Network <br />Council Member Chuck Haas and Phil Klein reported to Council the recent activities of the City <br />of Hugo's Yellow Ribbon Network. Hass stated that many "thanks" were being received from <br />soldiers who received care packages. The Centennial Hockey Association donated $1,500 to the <br />YRN from their gambling proceeds. As mentioned earlier, the YRN was working with <br />Washington County Sheriff's Office Commander Cheri Dexter on training of officers who deal <br />with veterans. The YRN continues to work with Habitat for Humanity in veteran outreach <br />programs. <br />EDA Interviews on May 6, 2014 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council of the interviews for the vacancy on the <br />Economic Development Authority scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Interviews will be held <br />in the Oneka Room beginning at 7 p.m. <br />165th Street and Ingersoll Avenue Proiect Open House on May 7, 2014 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council of the open house to be held on Wednesday, <br />May 7, 2014 in the Council Chambers for the 165th Street and Ingersoll Ave Mill & Overlay <br />Project from 6-8 p.m. Residents will be able to view plan sheets and ask questions of staff <br />regarding the project. This has been posted as a possible quorum of the Council should the <br />Council decide to attend. <br />Joint CC/EDA/PC Meeting on May 8, 2014 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council of the joint meeting of the City Council, <br />Planning Commission, and Economic Development Authority to will be held on Thursday, May <br />8, 2014 at 7 p.m. at the Rice Lake Centre to discuss the Downtown Development Guidelines and <br />Market Study completed by Maxfield Research. <br />Anniversary Celebration for Health Partners & Children's Clinic on May 20, 2014 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear informed Council that the White Bear Area Chamber <br />Ambassadors Committee is conducting a special ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the one <br />year anniversary of the new Health Partners & Children's Clinic. The event will be held on <br />Tuesday, May 20, 2014 from 3:30-4:00 pm at the Clinic located at 14701 Victor Hugo <br />Boulevard. The Council was been invited to attend. <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to schedule a meeting for May 20, 2014 to attend the <br />Health Partners & Children's Clinic. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Schedule Annual Performance Review for City Administrator Bryan Bear <br />Bryan Bear has been employed with the City since May 3, 2004. Bryan served as the <br />Community Development Director until being appointed the City Administrator on November, <br />
