MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON JULY 14, 2014 <br />Mayor Weidt called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Haas, Klein, Petryk, Weidt <br />ABSENT: Bronk <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, City Attorney Dave Snyder, City Engineer <br />Jay Kennedy, Planner Rachel Juba, and City Clerk Michele Lindau <br />Minutes for the June 10, 2014 National Recycling, Inc. Neighborhood Meeting <br />Hass made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the minutes for the June 10, 2014 neighborhood <br />meeting with National Recycling, Inc. as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Minutes for the June 16, 2014 City Council Meeting <br />Klein made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the minutes for the Hugo City Council meeting <br />on June 16, 2014 as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Minutes for the June 18, 2014 Habitat for Humanity Open House <br />Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the minutes for the Habitat for Humanity Open <br />House on June 18, 2014 as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Moment of Silence for Economic Development Authority Commissioner Jan Arcand <br />EDA Commissioner and president and founder of the Oneka Ridge Golf Course passed away on <br />June 25, 2014 after a short illness. The Council spoke kind words in remembrance of Jan and her <br />contributions to the City. The Mayor called for a moment of silence to honor Jan Arcand. She <br />was 80 years old. <br />Approval of the Agenda <br />Weidt made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the agenda as amended by removing the Award <br />of Bid for Rosemary Way. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />
