Motion carried. <br />Approval of the Consent Agenda <br />Bronk made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda items: <br />1. Approval of Claims <br />2. Approve Resolutions Declaring Cost, Assessment Role, and Hearing Date for 165th <br />Street/Ingersoll Avenue Project <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of Claims <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Claims Roster as presented. <br />Approve Resolutions Declaring Cost, Assessment Role, and Hearing Date for 165th <br />Street/Ingersoll Avenue Proiect <br />The City Council ordered the 165th Street improvement project on March 17, 2014, and awarded <br />a construction contract to complete the project on June 16, 2014. The improvements are <br />substantially completed, and staff is recommending that the Council move forward with the <br />assessment process for the project. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2014-29 DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION <br />OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS FOR THE 165TH STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT and <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014-30 CALLING FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE <br />PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR THE 165TH STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. <br />Reconsider the Approval of the Atkinson Mining Permit <br />At its August 4, 2014 meeting, Council approved the Mining Permit for Dean and Ruby <br />Atkinson with a change to the permitted haul routes. The approval included the elimination of <br />the use of Irish Avenue, north of 147th Street, and the use of 152nd Street, which would require <br />trucks to leave the pit going south on Irish Avenue. The Atkinsons had contacted Council <br />Member Haas after the meeting requesting the Council reconsider this change. At its August 18, <br />2014 meeting, the Council approved a motion to reconsider it at a future meeting. <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear provided background and presented a map showing the haul <br />route that was approved going south as well as the route that was previously removed, which is <br />Irish Avenue to 152nd Street going north from the pit. <br />
