Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for November 17, 2014 <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />were building in. Habitat for Humanity hopes to begin work on nine housing units in Hugo next <br />spring. Mike explained that Habitat provides mortgages that help make it affordable for families, <br />and he explained the family selection process. Habitat also acts as the general contractors whose <br />focus is to construct quality energy efficient homes. The homes would be similar to the existing <br />eight units of housing already there. <br />Approval of the Consent Agenda <br />Haas made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda items: <br />1. Approval of Claims <br />2. Approve Resignation of Greg Teece from the Hugo Fire Department <br />3. Approve Resolution Approving the Dam Safety Grant Agreement <br />4. Approve Agreement for Subsurface Sewage Treatment System Inspection Services with <br />Washington County <br />5. Approve Reduction in the Letter of Credit for OP3 Prairie Village LLC, Prairie Village 3rd <br />Addition <br />6. Approve Resolution for Release of Actions on Generation Acres Plat for Habitat for <br />Humanity Homes, Inc. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of Claims <br />City staff recommends Council approve the Claims Roster as presented. <br />Approve Resignation of Greg Teece from the Hugo Fire Department <br />Firefighter Gregory Teece of the Hugo Fire Department has submitted his letter of resignation. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the letter of resignation effective October 23, 2014. <br />Approve Resolution Approving the Dam Safety Grant Agreement <br />At its October 20, 2014 meeting, Council approved the Dam Safety Grant Agreement with the <br />DNR in the amount of $160,000. In order to execute the agreement, a resolution is required. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved RESOLUTION 2014-37 APPROVING THE DNR <br />DAM SAFETY PROGRAM GRANT AGREEMENT. <br />Approve Agreement for Subsurface Sewage Treatment System Inspection Services with <br />Washington County <br />The City of Hugo received notification the Subsurface Sewage Treatment System Inspection <br />Services Agreement with Washington County expires on December 31, 2014. This agreement is <br />a two-year contract with the City to provide inspection services for individual sewage treatment <br />systems. Washington County Ordinance 179, Subsurface Sewage Treatment Systems <br />Regulations Ordinance (SSTSRO) and the agreement have been reviewed by City staff and <br />found to be satisfactory.
