Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for January 7, 2013 Page 11 of 12 Schedule Date for Annual City Council Goal Setting Session Annually, the Council selects a date in January to review the goals set for the previous year and discuss goals for the upcoming year. Petryk made motion, Bronk seconded, to schedule January 22, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. for the annual Council Goal Setting Session. All Ayes. Motion carried. Cancel Second Meeting in January Due to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Each year, the Hugo City Council reschedules or cancels the second meeting of the month of January, which is the Dr. Martin Luther King Federal Holiday. The Hugo City Council could reschedule the meeting to the next available day which is Tuesday, January 22, 2013; however, staff has no agenda items at this time Weidt made motion, Klein seconded to cancel the second meeting in January in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Day. All Ayes. Motion carried. Reschedule Second Meeting in February to February 19, 2013 Due to President's Day Holiday Each year, the Hugo City Council reschedules or cancels the second meeting of the month of February, which is the President's Day Federal Holiday. Staff does have items for this agenda. Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to reschedule the second meeting in February to Monday, February 25, 2013. All Ayes. Motion carried. Warm Hearts for Charity Event on Saturday, January 19, 2013 The Hugo Business Association (HBA) is holding their 6th Annual Warm Hearts for Charity event on Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. This event will be held at the Hugo American Legion. HBA Member Cindy Petty said the HBA makes money for the community through this event. There will be raffles, wine tasting, silent auction, and karaoke. She encouraged everyone to attend. All Ayes. Motion carried.
