Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for May 6, 2013 <br />Page 6 of 8 <br />Update on Spring Cleanup Event held Saturday, April 20, 2013 <br />The City of Hugo held its annual Spring Cleanup on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Hugo Public <br />Works Department from 8 a.m. to noon. City Administrator Bryan Bear provided an update on <br />the cleanup event. Participation was better than expected considering the winter -like spring <br />weather. There were 573 loads processed and 13 ton of garbage/waste collected. <br />Update on Kidz `n Biz Event held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 <br />The annual Kidz -n -Biz Fest was held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Oneka Elementary <br />School from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. City Administrator Bryan Bear provided an update on the <br />Kidz -n -Biz event, which was very successful with over 350 families participating and attendance <br />estimated to be over 800 people. <br />MnDOT Open House on TH61/CSAH4 on Thursday, May 9, 2013 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council of their meeting scheduled for Thursday, May <br />9, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. for the Washington County Open House on the planned roundabout at <br />TH61/CSAH4. The Open House will take place in the Oneka Room at Hugo City Hall. <br />White Bear Lake School Board Meeting on Monday, May 13, 2013 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council of their meeting scheduled for Monday, May <br />13, 2013 at 7 p.m. to attend the White Bear Lake School Board meeting at the WBL School <br />District Office. The WBL School Board intends to approve the amendment to the Joint Powers <br />Agreement concerning the refinancing of the CSAH8 tax abatement bonds. <br />HealthPartners Hugo Clinic Grand Opening Wednesday, May 15, 2013 <br />HealthPartners has invited the Council to attend their Grand Opening of the Hugo Clinic on <br />Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. <br />Haas made motion, Klein seconded, to schedule a meeting for Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from <br />5-8 p.m. for the Grand Opening of the HealthPartners Clinic at 14701 Victor Hugo Boulevard <br />North. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Schedule Workshop on Water Conservation on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 <br />During its 2013 goal setting session, the City Council approved water conservation efforts as a <br />City Focus Goal. At its April 15, 2013 meeting, Council directed staff to select a date on which <br />to hold the workshop. <br />
