Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for September 3, 2013 <br />Page 6 of 6 <br />HBA Business Networking Breakfast Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Sal's Angus Grill <br />The Hugo Business Association will hold a Business Networking Breakfast on Wednesday, <br />October 30, 2013 at Sal's Angus Grill at 7:30 a.m. Washington County Attorney Pete Orput will <br />speak about preventing business crime. Staff recommends Council schedule this as a Council <br />meeting. <br />Petryk made motion, Haas seconded, to schedule the Hugo Business Association Networking <br />Breakfast on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 as a City Council meeting. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Update on National Recycling, Inc. and Executive Session <br />Staff has been monitoring the progress concerning scrap removal at NRI. Council discussed this <br />again at the August 19, 2013 meeting and agreed to give NRI additional time to continuing working <br />on their transition plan. <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear stated that staff continues to monitor progress at National Recycling <br />Inc. and things are still moving along, but have slowed down a bit. <br />Council Member Klein shared that there is a sign stating that they will be open during construction <br />and asked if staff knew the time frame for construction. Bear will work with the owner of NRI on <br />details of their transition plan. <br />Klein made motion, Petryk seconded, to table the Executive Session until the next meeting. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Adjournment <br />Haas made motion, Bronk seconded, to adjourn at 7:46 p.m. <br />All Ayes.
