Approve Annual Performance Review for City Clerk Michele Lindau Michele Lindau was hired as the new City Clerk in the City of Hugo on January 1, 2008. Michele was originally hired by the City of Hugo as a part time employee in 1997 and a full time employee beginning May 1, 1999. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the annual performance review for City Clerk Michele Lindau. Approve Annual Performance Review for Public Works Worker Paul Christianson The City of Hugo hired Paul Christianson as a Public Works Worker on September 27, 2004. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the annual performance for Public Works Worker Paul Christianson. Approve Conditional Use Permit Renewal for Kieger at 5885 16511" Street North At its April 15, 2000 meeting, Council approved a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for Keiger Enterprises at 5885 165th Street North to operate an environmental clean-up business, which includes vehicle repair facilities, cold storage, exterior storage of vehicles and equipment, and company offices. On May 8, 2003, the City Council approved an amendment to the CUP to allow a portion of the property to be used as a garden center and a landscape supply business with the condition that it be periodically reviewed and renewed. The four year review of the CUP is now due. On September 6, 2013, staff inspected the property and found it to be in compliance with the CUP. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved RESOLUTION 2013-28 APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR KIEGER ENTERPRISES INC LOCATED AT 5885 165TH STREET NORTH. Approve Resignation of Kris Birch from the Parks, Recreation and Open Space C ommissinn Parks Commissioner Kris Birch has submitted his letter of resignation from the Parks Commission effective September 11, 2013 due to other commitments. Kris has served on the Commission since February 1, 2010. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the resignation of Kris Birch. Discussion on Washington County Library System — Library Director Pat Conley At the August 15, 2013 meeting, the Council talked about the Washington County Library system and directed staff to invite library representatives to attend a Council meeting to learn more about the library and details on the library levy. Washington County Administrator Molly O'Rourke and Library Director Pat Conley attended this evenings meeting, along with County Commissioner Fran Miron, Library Board Chair Judy Bull, Wildwood Branch Manager Margaret Stone, and President of the Washington County Library Partners Board Ken Stone. Pat Conley talked about the Metropolitan Library Service Agency (MELSA), which consists of the seven metropolitan area counties and the City of St. Paul. MELSA is a regional library system
