Because the easement is held jointly by the RCWD and the City of Hugo, the Council needs to approve execution of the amendment. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Easement Amendment for the Oneka Ridge Water Reuse Project. Approve Reduction in the Letter of Credit for Everton Investments Prairie Village 2nd Everton Investments, developer, requested the City reduce the letter of credit being held for the Prairie Village 2nd Addition (LOC # 4935-81). Senior Engineering Technician Steve Duff had inspected the work and recommended the reduction of the letter of credit being held for the constructed improvements in the Prairie Village 2nd Addition development. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the reduction of the letter of credit to $19,100. Approve Release of the Letter of Credit for Everton Investments Prairie Village 1't Everton Investments, developer, requested the City release the letter of credit being held for the Prairie Village 1st Addition (LOC # 4935-80). Approve Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit for Ceasar Romero Benefit on November 16, 2013 The Hugo American Legion Post 620 Auxiliary applied for a Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit to hold raffles during the benefit being held for Ceasar Romero to support his fight with cancer. The benefit will be held on November 16, 2013 at 5 p.m. at the Hugo American Legion. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit for the Legion Post 620 Auxiliary. Approval of Quote for Rosemary Way Sewer and Water Installation The City received quotes for the installation of sanitary sewer and watermain extensions to service Christ Lutheran Church on Rosemary Way on Friday, October 3, 2013. City Engineer Jay Kennedy explained the improvements would be split into two phases; sanitary sewer and water will be installed this fall to serve the Church, and the remaining improvements would be done in the spring. Jay reported that there were two quotes received, with the low quote being from C.W. Houle, Inc. Haas made motion, Klein seconded, to recommend approval of the contract to C.W. Houle, Inc. in the amount of $87,777.00 All Ayes. Motion carried.
