Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for October 21, 2013 <br />Page 2 of 7 <br />White Bear School District Levy Presentation — Superintendent Dr. Michael Lovett, PH.D. <br />School District Elections will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2013. In the White Bear Lake <br />School District, voters will vote for school board members and a question on a capital project levy <br />authorization. Superintendent Dr. Michael Lovett was in attendance along with Board Chair Janet <br />Newberg, Vice Chair Chris Hiniker, and Board Member Bob Shevik. Dr. Lovett talked about the <br />Capital Projects Levy that was approved in 2003 and expired in 2012. A question on the next <br />ballot will ask the voters in the White Bear Lake School District to replace a Capital Projects <br />Levy in the amount of 1.4 million dollars. He explained that 66% of voters surveyed had <br />indicated they would support a levy in that amount. The money would cover the four "Ts": <br />textbooks, test tubes, technology, and tubas. A six -minute video was shown supporting the levy. <br />Lovett stated that materials had been sent to each household and the information was on the <br />District's website. <br />Weidt made motion, Haas seconded, to support the Capital Project Levy for the White Bear Lake <br />School District. <br />Ayes: Bronk, Petryk, Klein, Haas, Weidt <br />Motion carried. <br />Approval of the Consent Agenda <br />Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda items: <br />Approval of Claims <br />Approve Annual Performance Review for Accounting Clerk Anna Wobse <br />Approve Resignation of Parks Commissioner Christian Boland <br />Approve Resolution Adopting Assessments for Rosemary Way <br />Approve Amendment to Peddlers Ordinance <br />Approve Amendment to Public Conduct in Parks Ordinance <br />Approve Interim Use Permit Amendment for a Home Occupation for Terry Luedeke <br />Approve Amended Hugo Firefighters Relief Association Bylaws <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of Claims <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Claims Roster as presented. <br />Approve Annual Performance Review for Accounting Clerk Anna Wobse <br />The City of Hugo hired Anna Wobse as the City's new Accounting Clerk on October 27, 2008. <br />Over the past five years, Anna has worked under the direction of Finance Director Ron Otkin in <br />
