RCWD rules will require the developer to infiltrate the storm water, which may take some of the water that could be used by the Oneka Ridge Golf Course for their water reuse project. Haas talked about the Storm Water Management Plan, and Bryan explained the Plan is on a City- wide basis by using big storm water reuse projects which is not the same as the RCWD rules that require infiltration on site. The City will need to take advantage of RCWD credits on storm water project to transfer from one site to another. The city is proposing a citywide storm water plan so each project does not need individual approval on each project from the DNR. Schedule Council Goal Setting Session for Tuesday, January 21, 2014 Each year, Council schedules a goal setting session in January to review the goals set by the City's Boards and Commissions to develop priorities for the year. Weidt made motion, Bronk seconded, to schedule a workshop on January 21, 2013 following the regular meeting, for the annual goal setting session. All Ayes. Motion carried. Snow Jam on Saturday, January 11 City Administrator Bryan Bear informed the Council that the fifth annual Snow Jam will be held Saturday, January 11 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Oneka Elementary School. Families can find more information on the City's website. Winter Movie Nights City Administrator Bryan Bear informed the Council that Winter Move Nights have been scheduled for 2014 in the gymnasium at Oneka Elementary School. The dates are Friday, January 10; Friday, February 21; and Friday, March 21. Doors will open at 6:30pm and the movie will start at 7:OOpm. More information will be posted on the City's website. Ground Water Management Area Kick-off Meeting The DNR will be establishing the first Ground Water Management Area, which will include a portion of Hugo. The DNR is holding a kickoff meeting in conjunction with the League of Minnesota Cities and the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce to share information on this project. The meeting will be on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 6:30 — 8:30 p.m. at the Shoreview Community Center. Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to schedule a meeting for January 8, 2014 to attend the Ground Water Management Area Kick-off at the Shoreview Community Center. All Ayes. Motion carried.
