Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for January 23, 2012 <br />Page 10 of 10 <br />Council Member Phil Klein reported to Council on the Yellow Ribbon Network (YRN) activities <br />held recently. The Hugo YRN has been recognized with a certificate of appreciation from family <br />members of the B Company. The YRN is also working with Home Depot who donated a bathroom <br />remodeling for a military family, and the next Burger Night for the YRN is Wednesday, January 25, <br />2012 from 5-8 p.m. <br />Warm Hearts for Charity Event <br />Council Member Petryk added this to the agenda to give a report on the Warm Hearts for Charity <br />Event held on Saturday, January 21, 2012. This is a fund raising event held annually by the Hugo <br />Business Association (HBA) to raise money for several local charities. Petryk stated the event was <br />well attended, and she thanked HBA members Deb Johnson and Cindy Petty for the excellent job <br />they did in putting on the event again this year. <br />2012 Golden Gala Event Fundraiser February 3, 2012 <br />The Hugo and Oneka Elementary School will be holding their 2012 Golden Gala event on Friday, <br />February 3, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Manitou Station in White Bear Lake. This is a <br />fund raising event to help provide educational technologies and tools for the classrooms. Bryan Bear <br />informed the Council that anyone interested in attending can purchase tickets at the Oneka <br />Elementary School. <br />State of the City Business Breakfast on February 7, 2012 <br />The Hugo Business Association and EDA are hosting a Business Breakfast on Tuesday, February 7, <br />2012 at 7:30 a.m. at the Blue Heron Grill in Hugo. Mayor Fran Miron will give the State of the City <br />Address. Anyone interested in attending should contact Planner Rachel Juba. <br />Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to schedule Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 7:30 a.m. as a <br />Council meeting so they may attend the Business Networking Breakfast at the Blue Heron Grill. <br />All Ayes.
