Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to schedule a workshop on redistricting for 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Hugo City Hall. All Ayes. Motion carried. Reschedule Second Meeting in February due to the Presidents Day Holiday Annually, the Hugo City Council needs to reschedule its second meeting in February due to the observance of the Presidents Day Federal Holiday. In the past, the Council has held its second meeting on the following Tuesday. Staff informed Council there were no pending agenda items for the second meeting in February. Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to cancel the second City Council meeting in February. All Ayes. Motion carried. Update on Yellow Ribbon Network Council Member Phil Klein reported to Council on the Yellow Ribbon Network (YRN) activities held recently. The past YRN Hamburger Night was a success. Hamburger Night is held on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 5 p.m. at the Hugo American Legion. The YRN is also taking donations for care packages to be sent to the troops serving overseas. Hugo Firefighters Annual Banquet on February 25, 2012 The Hugo Fire Department will hold the Hugo Firefighters Annual Banquet on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Manitou Station in White Bear Lake. Miron made motion, Klein seconded, to direct staff to schedule February 25, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. as a Council meeting to allow for the attendance of the Council at the Hugo Firefighters Annual Banquet. All Ayes. Motion carried. Stillwater School District Meeting on February 25, 2012 The Stillwater Area Public School District will hold a meeting on Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Central Services location, 1875 South Greely Street, to discuss the 2012- 2013 budget reduction and the possibility of cost sharing services. The district is requesting the City of Hugo's representation at this meeting. Miron made motion, Petryk seconded, to direct staff to notice February 25, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. as a meeting of the Hugo City Council to allow for the attendance of the Council at the Stillwater School District meeting.
