MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON MARCH 19, 2012 <br />Mayor Miron called the meeting to order at 7:06 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Haas, Klein, Petryk, Weidt, Miron <br />ABSENT: None <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, City Attorney Dave Snyder, City Engineer Jay <br />Kennedy, Parks Planner Shayla Syverson, and City Clerk Michele Lindau <br />Approval of the Minutes for the Meeting with TAB Representatives on March 5, 2012 <br />Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the minutes for the March 5, 2012 TAB meeting <br />as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of the Minutes for the City Council Meeting on March 5, 2012 <br />Klein made motion, Weidt seconded, to approve the minutes for the March 5, 2012 City Council <br />Meeting as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of the Minutes for the Redistricting Workshop on March 6, 2012 <br />Weidt made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the March 6, 2012 Redistricting <br />Workshop as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of the Agenda <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the agenda as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Presentation Washington County Sheriff Department Annual Report — Sheriff William <br />Hutton <br />Annually, Washington County Sheriff Bill Hutton presents the Hugo City Council with the City of <br />Hugo's police report which reflects and accounts for the police activities in the City of Hugo for <br />the past year. Sheriff Hutton was in attendance at this meeting and presented the 2011 City of <br />Hugo Report to the Council. He provided an overview of the Sheriff's Department, which he <br />explained has the equivalent of 236.5 full time employees. Accomplishments of the past year have <br />been the creation of the Lexipol Policy Manual, Emergency Management and CodeRed System, <br />and Project Lifesaver. Sheriff Hutton compared Countywide and the City of Hugo statistics on <br />calls over the past several years, and he talked about ongoing projects which include a records <br />management system, cold case unit, the NexGen 911 that will allow 911 operators to accept video, <br />
