Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for April 16, 2012 <br />Page 6 of 7 <br />Board of Equalization Meeting on April 19, 2012 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council of the Board of Appeal and Equalization on <br />Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 5:30 p.m. — 7:00 p.m. The meeting will take place in the Oneka <br />Room at Hugo City Hall. <br />Spring Cleanup on April 21, 2012 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear announced that the City of Hugo will hold its annual Spring <br />Cleanup on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Hugo Public Works Department from 8 a.m. to noon. <br />Public Works Director Scott Anderson added that volunteers for Eaglebrook Church will be <br />accepting items to donate to those in need. There will be no charge for dropping off reusable items. <br />Kidz -n -Biz on April 21, 2012 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear announced that the annual Kidz -n -Biz Fest will take place on <br />Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Oneka Elementary School from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. <br />Rice Creek Watershed District Meeting on April 25, 2012 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council of the joint meeting of the Hugo City Council and <br />Rice Creek Watershed District Board of Managers that will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 <br />at 11:00 a.m. in the Shoreview City Council Chambers, 4600 North Victoria Street in Shoreview, <br />for the purpose of discussing Hugo's Stormwater CIP, Oneka Ridge Golf Course Project, Bald <br />Eagle Lake Outlet, and the annual JD2 minor ditch maintenance program. <br />Hugo Fire Department Chief Interviews on April 30, 2012 <br />City Administrator announced that Council will be conducting interviews for the Hugo Fire <br />Department Chief on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. <br />Severe Weather Week Update <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear added this to the agenda as a reminder that this week is Severe <br />Weather Week. Tornado Awareness day is on Thursday. Washington County will be testing the <br />warning sirens by activating them at 1:45 p.m. and 6:55 p.m. on that day. <br />National Recycling Inc. Open House Invite <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear added this to the agenda to inform Council that National Recycling, <br />Inc. (NRI) will be holding an open house and ribbon cutting event at their new site in Cambridge on <br />Thursday, April 26, 2012. <br />Petryk made motion, Weidt seconded, to schedule Thursday, April 26, 2012 as a meeting of the <br />City Council to allow their attendance at the NRI Open House from 3-7 p.m. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />
