MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON JUNE 4, 2011 Mayor Miron called the meeting to order at 7:08 p.m. PRESENT: Haas, Klein, Petryk, Weidt, Miron ABSENT: None ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, City Attorney Dave Snyder, City Engineer Jay Kennedy, Accounting Clerk Anna Wobse, and City Clerk Michele Lindau Approval of the Minutes for the City of Centerville Stormwater Irrigation Demo on May 17, 2012 Weidt made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the City of Centerville Stormwater Irrigation Demo held on May 17, 2012 as presented. All Ayes. Motion carried. Approval of the Minutes for the MnDOT Open House on May 21, 2012 Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the minutes for the MnDOT Open House held on May 21, 2012 as presented. All Ayes. Motion carried. Approval of the Minutes for the City Council Meeting on May 21, 2012 Weidt made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for City Council meeting held on May 21, 2012 as presented. All Ayes. Motion carried. Approval of the Agenda Add to Unfinished Business: Discussion on Proposed Roundabout at TH61/170th Street North Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the agenda as amended. All Ayes. Motion carried. Oath of Office - New Fire Chief Kevin Colvard On April 30, 2012, the Hugo City Council conducted interviews for the Hugo Fire Chief position due to the retirement of Fire Chief Jim Compton on June 1, 2012. At the May 7, 2012 meeting, the Council approved appointment of Kevin Colvard as the new Hugo Fire Chief. Mayor Fran Miron administered the Oath of Office to Kevin, and Retired Fire Chief Jim Compton applied the Fire Chief pins to Kevin's uniform. Centennial Fire Chief Jerry Streich and the entire Council joined Mayor Fran Miron in expressing confidence and support of Kevin Colvard as Fire Chief, receiving applause from the audience.
