MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON JUNE 4, 2011 <br />Mayor Miron called the meeting to order at 7:08 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Haas, Klein, Petryk, Weidt, Miron <br />ABSENT: None <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, City Attorney Dave Snyder, City Engineer <br />Jay Kennedy, Accounting Clerk Anna Wobse, and City Clerk Michele Lindau <br />Approval of the Minutes for the City of Centerville Stormwater Irrigation Demo on May <br />17, 2012 <br />Weidt made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the City of Centerville <br />Stormwater Irrigation Demo held on May 17, 2012 as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of the Minutes for the MnDOT Open House on May 21, 2012 <br />Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the minutes for the MnDOT Open House held <br />on May 21, 2012 as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of the Minutes for the City Council Meeting on May 21, 2012 <br />Weidt made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for City Council meeting held on <br />May 21, 2012 as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of the Agenda <br />Add to Unfinished Business: Discussion on Proposed Roundabout at TH61/170th Street North <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the agenda as amended. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Oath of Office - New Fire Chief Kevin Colvard <br />On April 30, 2012, the Hugo City Council conducted interviews for the Hugo Fire Chief position <br />due to the retirement of Fire Chief Jim Compton on June 1, 2012. At the May 7, 2012 meeting, <br />the Council approved appointment of Kevin Colvard as the new Hugo Fire Chief. Mayor Fran <br />Miron administered the Oath of Office to Kevin, and Retired Fire Chief Jim Compton applied the <br />Fire Chief pins to Kevin's uniform. Centennial Fire Chief Jerry Streich and the entire Council <br />joined Mayor Fran Miron in expressing confidence and support of Kevin Colvard as Fire Chief, <br />receiving applause from the audience.
