MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON JULY 2, 2012 <br />Acting Mayor Petryk called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Haas, Klein, Petryk, Weidt, Miron (arrived at 7:20 p.m.) <br />ABSENT: None <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, City Attorney Dave Snyder, City Engineer <br />Jay Kennedy, and City Clerk Michele Lindau <br />Approval of the Minutes for Fire Chief Compton's Retirement on June 3, 2012 <br />Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the minutes for the retirement party held for <br />Fire Chief Jim Compton on June 3, 2012, as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of the Minutes for the City Council Meeting on June 18, 2012 <br />Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the minutes for the City Council meeting held <br />on June 18, 2012, as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />The Citizen Requester Campaign — Editor Debra Barnes <br />In February, 2012, Press Publications, which owns The Citizen (a biweekly newspaper mailed to <br />all Hugo residents), launched a Requester Campaign to gain feedback to determine the best <br />method of providing the paper to all Hugo residents who wish to continue receiving the <br />publication.
