Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for September 4, 2012 <br />Page 5 of 5 <br />goals, and will be conducting Thrive MSP 2040, a community outreach program that will contain <br />information on water supply planning. <br />Schedule Planning Commission Interviews <br />At its July 2, 2012 meeting, the City Council declared the seat of Adam Moore vacant on the <br />Planning Commission. Staff posted the notice of vacancy and received two applications. <br />Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to hold a meeting on Tuesday, September 18, 7:00 p.m. to <br />conduct Planning Commissioner interviews. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Movie Night in the Park on Friday, September 14, 2012 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear provided a reminder that the Hugo Parks Department will be <br />holding a Movie Night at the Hanifl Fields Athletic Park on Friday, September 14, 2012. The <br />movie will be "How to Eat Fried Worms" and will begin at sunset (approximately 7:30 pm). <br />Games will begin at 7:00 pm. This family event is free for all. <br />Tour de Hugo Bike Ride on Saturday, September 15, 2012 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear provided a reminder of the Tour de Hugo Bike Ride scheduled for <br />Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Hanifl Fields Athletic Park. Several local businesses are supporting <br />the community bike ride which features 5, 18, and 23 mile routes suitable for all ages and abilities. <br />Lunch, activities and entertainment is included in the cost of registration. Registration is now <br />available at City Hall and online. <br />Hugo Fire Department Open House on October 6, 2012 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear informed the Council that the Hugo Fire Department will hold their <br />Annual Open House on October 6, 2012 from 11 a.m. — 3 p.m. Staff will post this as a meeting of <br />the Council to allow their attendance at the Fire Department Open House. <br />Adiournment <br />Weidt made motion, Haas seconded, to adjourn at 8:10 p.m. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Michele Lindau <br />City Clerk <br />
