Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for October 1, 2012 <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />Council presented a Resolution and a Certificate of Appreciation to the Senator thanking him for <br />his years of dedicated public service to the residents and businesses in Hugo. <br />Miron made motion, Weidt seconded, to approve RESOLUTION 2012-30 RECOGNIZING <br />THE HONORABLE SENATOR RAY VANDEVEER FOR HIS 15 YEARS OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE AS REPRESENTATIVE AND SENATOR SERVING THE CITIZENS OF HUGO, <br />MINNESOTA. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Council took a short break. <br />Approval of the Consent Agenda <br />Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda items: <br />Approval of Claims <br />Approve Annual Performance Review for Public Works Worker Adam Greeder <br />Approve Appointment of Corky Lessard to the Planning Commission <br />Approve Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit for Raffle at Hugo American Legion on November <br />11, 2012 <br />Approve Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit for Raffle at Hugo American Legion on December <br />8, 2012 <br />Approve Revisions to the Hugo Fire Department SOGs and City of Hugo Personnel Policy <br />Approve Completion of Probationary Period for Matt Richardson and Appointment as a Hugo <br />Firefighter <br />Approve Leave of Absence for Hugo Firefighter Zac Wellner <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of Claims <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Claims Roster as presented. <br />Approve Annual Performance Review for Public Works Worker Adam Greeder <br />In 2007, Adam Greeder was hired by the City of Hugo as one of its summer seasonal <br />maintenance workers in the Hugo Public Works Department. On October 6, 2008, Adam <br />became part of the department as a full-time employee as an apprentice for the Public Works <br />Maintenance Worker. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the annual performance <br />review for Public Works Worker Adam Greeder. <br />Approve Appointment of Corky Lessard to the Planning Commission <br />The Council held interviews on September 18, 2012 of two Hugo residents who applied for the <br />vacant seat on the Planning Commission. The Council found both candidates to be qualified for <br />
