Approve Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit for Raffle at Hugo American Legion on November 11, 2012 The Hugo American Legion Post 620 Auxiliary has applied for a Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit to allow the Auxiliary to sell raffle tickets on November 11, 2012 for a quilt that has been donated to the Hugo American Legion. Money raised by the raffle will be donated to the Hastings Veteran Home. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit for the Legion Auxiliary for a raffle on November 11, 2012. Approve Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit for Raffle at Hugo American Legion on December 8, 2012 The Hugo American Legion Post 620 Auxiliary has applied for a Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit to allow the Auxiliary to conduct gambling at the benefit for Allysia Moran who is suffering from Lyme disease. This benefit will be held at the American Legion on December 8, 2012 from 2-9 p.m., and the money raised will be used to cover uninsured medical costs. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Lawful Gambling Exempt Permit to conduct raffles at the Moran Benefit on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Hugo American Legion. Approve Revisions to the Hugo Fire Department SOGs and City of Hugo Personnel Policy The Hugo Fire Department has reviewed the Fire Department Standard Operating Guidelines and the Hugo Personnel Policy and is recommending changes. The most significant change is the revision to the point system that increased the 27 point requirement to 28 points. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the revisions to the Hugo Fire Department SOGs and City of Hugo Personnel Policy. Approve Completion of Probationary Period for Matt Richardson and Appointment as a Hugo Firefighter On October 4, 2012, Matt Richardson's probation period on the Hugo Fire Department ended. Matt has completed all the necessary requirements to be moved to full time status. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the completion of the probation period and appointment as regular firefighter on the Hugo Fire Department for Matt Richardson effective October 4, 2012. Approve Leave of Absence for Hugo Firefighter Zac Wellner Fire Chief Kevin Colvard recommended Council approve the request from Firefighter Zac Wellner for a Leave of Absence for medical reasons. The leave will be indefinite, dependent on his doctor's recommendation. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Medical Leave of Absence for Firefighter Zac Wellner.
