Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for October 1, 2012 <br />Page 5 of 5 <br />Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to approve RESOLUTION NO. 2012 - 31 ADOPTING <br />ASSESSMENTS FOR THE LAKE AIR ESTATES AND BALD EAGLE ESTATES AREA <br />ROADWAY, DRAINAGE, AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. <br />Ayes: Klein, Weidt, Petryk, Miron <br />Nays: None <br />Motion carried. <br />Yellow Ribbon Network Report <br />Council Member Phil Klein reported to Council on the Yellow Ribbon Network activities held <br />recently. Boyds Promotion hosted the past hamburger night, and Council Member Klein stated <br />that the YRN is very fortunate to have sponsors booked for the next five months. The YRN is <br />looking for sponsors for the Welcome Home Pheasant Hunt to be held at Wild Wings Game <br />Farm on October 20-21. Last year's event was a huge success. <br />Candidate Forum on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council that the League of Women Voters will be <br />conducting the Candidate Forum on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Hugo City Hall. The forum <br />will begin at 7 pm with the Candidates for Washington County Districts 1 and 2. The Hugo <br />Mayor and Council Candidates are expected to be heard at approximately 8:15 p.m. <br />Hugo Fire Department Annual Open House Saturday, October 6, 2012 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear reminded Council that the Hugo Fire Department will hold their <br />Annual Open House on Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 11:00am - 3:00pm. This event will take <br />place at the Hugo Fire Hall, 5323 140th St. North, and will include the Fearless Firefighters Fun <br />Run and several children and adult activities. The Open House is held annually to celebrate Fire <br />Prevention Week, which is October 7-13. <br />Adjournment <br />Weidt made motion, Petryk seconded, to adjourn at 8:31 p.m. <br />All Ayes.
