MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON MARCH 7, 2011 Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m. PRESENT: Haas, Klein, Petryk, Weidt, Miron ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mike Ericson, Community Development Director Bryan Bear, City Engineer Jay Kennedy, City Attorney Dave Snyder, Community Development Assistant Dennis Fields, Finance Director Ron Otkin, Accounting Clerk Anna Wobse, and City Clerk Michele Lindau Moment of Silence for Retired Washington County Commissioner Dick Stafford and Brooklyn Park Mayor Steve Lampi Mayor Fran Miron requested a moment of silence in remembrance of longtime Washington County Commissioner Dick Stafford and Brooklyn Park Mayor Steve Lampi. Dick passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2011. He served Washington County for many years, both as County Commissioner and as the County Auditor. Brooklyn Park Mayor Steve Lampi passed away from cancer early last week. Mayor Fran Miron said his sympathy goes out to the families of these two dedicated public servants. The Mayor also said his thoughts go out to the family of Washington County Judge Albertson as well. Judge Albertson passed away on January 31, 2011 at the age of 83. Approval of the Minutes for the City Council Meeting on February 22, 2011 Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the minutes for the City Council meeting held on February 22, 2011 as presented. All Ayes. Motion carried. Approval of the Minutes for the South Ethan Avenue Neighborhood meeting on February 24, 2011 Klein made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the South Ethan Avenue Neighborhood meeting held on February 24, 2011 as presented. All Ayes. Motion carried. Approval of the Agenda Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the Agenda as amended: Add to Administrative Presentations: Cancel Council Meeting for March 21, 2011 Update on the Hugo American Legion All Ayes. Motion carried.
