Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for April 4, 2011 Page 3 of 9 Approve Annual Performance Review for Finance Director Ron Otkin Ron Otkin was hired as the City's Finance Director on April 3, 1989. For the past 22 years, Ron has conducted duties related to the City's Finance Department which includes the annual preparation of the City's budget as well as financing of public improvement projects and accounts payable and accounts receivable. City Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the annual performance review for Finance Director Ron Otkin. Approve Annual Performance Review for Building Department Secretary Debi Close Debi Close was hired as the City's Building Department Receptionist on March 20, 2006. For the past five years, Debi has performed duties which involve an extensive amount of customer service duties both at the front counter and on the telephone scheduling inspections with contractors. Debi also works as the secretary to the Parks and Recreation Commission. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the annual performance review for Building Department Receptionist Debi Close. Approve Annual Performance Review for Community Development Assistant Dennis Fields Dennis Fields was hired by the City of Hugo as the new Community Development Assistant and started work on March 31, 2008. Over the past three years, he has worked with the City's Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and provides support staff to the Planning Commission as well as other duties in the Community Development Department. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the annual performance review for Community Development Assistant Dennis Fields. Approve Special Event Permit for the Minnesota Lyme Disease Association Run Event on Saturday, May 21, 2011 The City of Hugo has received an application from the Minnesota Lyme Disease Association for approval of a Special Event Permit for its Fun Run Event scheduled for Saturday, May 21, 2011. The event will be ran on the same route used by the City of Hugo for its 2006 Centennial Celebration, which involves a loop around Lions Park and out on the Hardwood Creek Trail to the Creekview Preserve neighborhood and back. City staff has reviewed the Special Event Permit and found it to be satisfactorily complete along with the use of the Lions Park Pavilion. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Special Event Permit for the Minnesota Lyme Association Fun Run Event Scheduled for Saturday, May 21, 2011. Approve Summary of Animal Ordinance for Publication At its March 7, 2011 meeting, the City Council approved revisions to the Animal Ordinance. City Staff was directed to prepare an executive summary for approval by Council at its next regularly scheduled meeting for publication in the City's legal newspaper, The Citizen. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the summary of the Animal Ordinance for publication.
