Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for April 4, 2011 <br />Page 4 of 9 <br />Approve Pay Request No. 2 from Olson's Sewer Service for JD 2 Minor Ditch Maintenance <br />The City of Hugo received Pay Request No. 2 from Olson's Sewer for the 2010-2011 <br />maintenance on Judicial Ditch #2. This project was approved by the Council at its meeting on <br />January 18, 2011. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved Pay Request No. 2 to Olson's <br />Sewer Service in the amount of $13,050.82 <br />Approve Pay Request No. 9 from E.H. Renner & Sons for Well No. 6 <br />The City of Hugo has received Pay Request No. 9 from E.H. Renner & Sons for construction of <br />Well No. 6. Senior Engineering Technician Steve Duff and City Engineer Jay Kennedy have <br />reviewed the pay request and found it to be satisfactory for work completed to date on the <br />project. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved Pay Request No. 9 from E.H. Renner and & <br />Sons in the amount of $13,680.00 for construction of Well No 6. <br />Approve Minor Subdivision and Conditional Use Permit for Shared Driveway for Jim <br />Leroux <br />The applicant is requesting approval of a minor subdivision to create three lots out of a 32.27 <br />acre lot. The lots created would be two 10 acre parcels and one 12.27 acre parcel. The applicant <br />is also requesting approval of a conditional use permit for a shared driveway for parcel B and C. <br />A shared driveway is proposed to access parcel C without impacting the creek. At its March 24, <br />2011 meeting, the Planning Commission considered the application and held a public hearing on <br />the request. There was no one that spoke on the request except the applicant. Staff recommended <br />approval of the applications to the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission agreed that <br />the applications met the requirements necessary to approve a minor subdivision and conditional <br />use permit. The Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of the applications <br />to the City Council. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved RESOLUTION 2011-4 <br />APPROVING A MINOR SUBDIVISION FOR JIM LEROUX ON PROPERTY LOCATED <br />GENERALLY EAST OF ELMCREST AVENUE AND NORTH OF 165TH STREET and <br />RESOLUTION 2011-5 APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR JIM LEROUX <br />TO ALLOW A SHARED DRIVEWAY FOR THE PROPERTIES GENERALLY LOCATED <br />EAST OF ELMCREST AVENUE AND NORTH OF 165TH STREET <br />Approve Conditional Use Permit Amendment for Randall Roatch and Donald Baierl for <br />Motor Vehicle Sales at 15775 Forest Boulevard North <br />The applicant is requesting an amendment to the existing conditional use permit for motor <br />vehicle sales on the property. The applicant is requesting to revise condition number 2, which <br />states that no more than two cars can be on display at any given time, and no more than five cars <br />associated with the auto sales business may be stored on the property. The applicant is requesting <br />to revise the condition to state: "There shall be no more than five cars on display at any given <br />time and no more than eight cars associated with the auto sales business stored on the property" <br />At its March 24, 2011 meeting, the Planning Commission considered the application and held a <br />public hearing on the request. The Planning Commission agreed that the revision was minor in <br />nature and recommended approval of the application to the City Council. Adoption of the <br />Consent Agenda approved RESOLUTION 2011-6 APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT AMENDMENT FOR RANDY ROATCH AND DONALD BAIERL FOR LATE <br />
