Haas made motion, Weidt seconded, to direct staff to notify the utility companies that do work in the right-of-ways of the proposed ordinances and schedule a public hearing to discuss the ordinances. Authorization to Advertise for Bids for Well No. 6 In 2009, the Hugo City Council agreed that the construction of a well was important to the City's water supply system in the southern portion of the City. Over the past year, the City has acquired property on 125th Street North and undertaken preliminary design including a test well. City staff has been working with the DNR on the design of the well, which has been completed. City Engineer Jay Kennedy explained the permitting process with the DNR and the MN Department of Health, and results of the private well survey that was sent to 82 propherties, and 28 were returned with information. Staff was requesting to open bids on March I It with the Council awarding the bid at their March 15, 2010 meeting. Construction of the well would take place April - September, 2010 with a 7 -day aquifer test in August. Construction of the well house would take place in October 2011. Haas made motion, Petryk seconded to accept the plans and specifications and authorize the advertise for bids for construction of Well No. 6. Schedule I-35 W/E Coalition Meeting At its January 25, 2010 Goal Setting Session, Hugo City Council agreed to schedule the first I-35 W/E Coalition meeting for 2010. Council discussed their availability in Feburary on which to hold its I-35 W/E Coalition meeting with Lino Lakes, Centerville, Columbus, and Forest Lake to include presentations from Anoka County, Washington County and Metropolitan Council and MnDot Officials. Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to direct staff to schedule the I-35 W/E Coalition meeting in February, 2010 with a focus on February 16, 18, 23, or 25. All Ayes. Motion carried. Reschedule Second Meeting in February in Observance of Presidents Day Annually, the Hugo City Council needs to reschedule it second meeting in February due to the observance of the Presidents Day Federal Holiday. City Clerk Michele Lindau stated there were no items for the agenda for the second meeting in February.
