City Council Meeting Minutes for June 7, 2010 <br />Page 5 of 9 <br />Approve Authorization to Hold Public Hearing on Ordinance Revisions Recommended by <br />the Ordinance Review Committee (ORC) <br />At its March 15, 2010 meeting the City Council adopted the 2030 Comprehensive Plan. The City <br />has nine months to make revisions to the City Code to be consistent with the Comprehensive <br />Plan. The City Council forwarded the revisions to the Ordinance Review Committee (ORC) to <br />complete the revisions. The revisions are complete, and adoption of the Consent Agenda <br />approved staff to schedule a public hearing on the revisions and notify affected property owners. <br />Approve Pay Request No. 2 from Rum River for Work Completed to Date on TH61/130 <br />Street Intersection Improvements <br />The City of Hugo has received Pay Request No. 2 from Rum River Contracting for work on the <br />TH61/130th Street Intersection Improvement Project. Senior Engineering Steve Duff has <br />reviewed the pay request and found it to be satisfactory for work completed to date on the <br />project. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved Pay Request No.2 to Rum River Contracting <br />in the amount of $199,119.65 for work completed to date on the TH61/1301h Street Intersection <br />Improvement Project. <br />Approve Pay Request No. 1 from Arnt Construction for Work Completed to Date on <br />TH61/147th Street Intersection Improvements <br />The City of Hugo has received Pay Request No. 1 from Arnt Construction for work on the <br />TH61/147th Street Intersection Improvement Project. Senior Engineering Steve Duff has <br />reviewed the pay request and found it to be satisfactory for work completed to date on the <br />project. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved Pay Request No.l to Arnt Construction in <br />the amount of $209,210.31 for work completed through to date on the TH61/147th Street <br />Intersection Improvement Project. <br />Schedule Groundbreaking for Hanifl Fields Park Shelter for June 9, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. <br />At its May 17, 2010 meeting, the Council approved the award of bid for the construction of the <br />Hanifl Fields Park Shelter to Gen Con Construction and directed staff to schedule a <br />groundbreaking ceremony, which would include the Parks and Recreation Commission and the <br />Hanifl family. City staff has worked with Sharon Hanifl-Lee, her family, and the Parks <br />Commission and selected Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 5:00 pm for the groundbreaking <br />ceremony. <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the groundbreaking ceremony for construction <br />of the Hanifl Fields Park Shelter for Wednesday, June 9, 2010 pm at 5:00 pm. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried <br />Update on Proposed Ethan and Everton Avenue Street Reconstruction and City Utilities <br />Proiect <br />For the past 18 months, the City Council and staff have been discussing potential infrastructure <br />improvements with residents within the South Ethan Avenue area of the City adjacent to Bald <br />Eagle Lake.
