He said the Lions really appreciated the <br />City's participation and the presence of the Washington County Sheriff's Department. Katie <br />Riopel, otherwise known as the "Parade Lady", reported there were 69 units in the parade, and <br />the rain held off for most of the parade. Next year's Good Neighbor Days Festival will be June <br />7-12, and it was explained it is always two weeks after the Memorial Day weekend. The Mayor <br />said he appreciated all the work the Lions do in putting on this event for the City, and he <br />commented that the road construction around the Lions Park may have contributed to the decline <br />in attendance. <br />Approval of Consent Agenda <br />Haas made motion, Weidt seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br />Approval of Claims <br />Approve Annual Performance Review for Public Works Lead Worker Tom Smith <br />Approve Extension for Oneka Square for Preliminary Plat, Rezoning and PUD General Plan <br />Approve Pay Request No. 2 from Arnt Construction for South Egg Lake Street Reconstruction <br />Project <br />Approve Pay Request No. 2 from Renner Construction for Construction of Well No. 6 <br />Approve Lawful Gambling Permit for Sergeant Joe Bergeron Fundraiser on Friday June 25, 2010 <br />at the Hugo American Legion <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of Claims <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Claim Roster as presented. <br />Approve Annual Performance Review for Public Works Lead Worker Tom Smith <br />Tom Smith was hired by the City of Hugo on June 26, 2000. Tom has worked hard over the past <br />ten years as a valued member and leader of the public works department team. As lead worker, <br />Tom provides direction to full time and summer seasonal staff on an as -needed basis in the <br />absence of the Public Works Director. Tom is a dedicated, loyal, and conscientious member of <br />the Public Works Department Team. Tom is respected for getting the job done. Adoption of the <br />Consent Agenda approved the annual performance review for Public Works Lead Worker Tom <br />Smith. <br />Approve Extension for Oneka Square for Preliminary Plat, Rezoning and PUD General <br />Plan <br />Staff has received a letter from Terry Thompson, a partner of the property owners FJT <br />Properties, requesting an extension for rezoning, PUD general plan, and preliminary plat for <br />Oneka Square. The retail building has not been constructed to date. The project was originally <br />approved by the City Council on June 18, 2007. The City Council previously approved <br />
