Approve Annual Performance Review for Public Works Worker Jeff Maas Jeff Maas was hired by the City of Hugo on July 24, 2006 as a Public Works Worker. Over the past four years, Jeff has demonstrated knowledge and an excellent work ethic with the Public Works Department. He continues to be a valuable asset and makes a significant contribution to the Department. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the annual performance review for Public Works Worker Jeff Maas. Approve CUP for Accessory Building at 15118 Irish Avenue North - Vince Lutz The applicants requested approval of a conditional use permit to allow 125% of the permitted size of an accessory building. The property is approximately 19 acres in size. Currently there are three accessory building on site with a total of 2,680 square feet. According to the accessory building ordinance, if the property owner does not have an attached garage they are allowed an extra building on the property and an extra 500 square feet. In this case, the applicant is allowed 5,500 square feet and four accessory building on the property. The applicant is proposing to construct a 3,840 square foot accessory building that would meet all setback requirements in the agricultural zoning district. This would bring the total square footage to 6,660 square feet; therefore, a conditional use permit is necessary for the construction of the proposed accessory building. At its July 8, 2010 meeting, the Planning Commission reviewed and considered the conditional use permit request during a public hearing. There was no one that spoke at the public hearing. The Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of the conditional use permit to the City Council. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved RESOLUTION 2010-28 APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR JULIE AND VINCE LUTZ FOR AN ACCESSORY BUILDING UP TO 125% OF THE PERMITTED SIZE IN THE AGRICUTRAL ZONING DISTRICT ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 15118 IRISH AVENUE NORTH. Approve Pay Request No. 3 for E.H. Renner from Construction on Well No. 6 City staff received Pay Request No. 3 from Renner Construction for work completed to date on the construction of Well No. 6 located near the intersection of TH61 and 125th Street. Senior Engineering Technician Steve Duff and City Engineer Jay Kennedy have reviewed the pay request and found it to be satisfactory for work completed to date on the project. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved Pay Request No. 3 from E.H. Renner Construction for work completed to date on the construction of Well No. 6 in the amount of $51,166.20. Approve Pay Request No. 3 from Arnt Construction for Construction on T.H. 61 and 147th Street Intersection Proiect The City of Hugo received Pay Request No. 3 from Arnt Construction for work on the TH61/147th Street Intersection Improvement Project. Senior Engineering Steve Duff has reviewed the pay request and found it to be satisfactory for work completed to date on the project. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved Pay Request No. 3 to Arnt Construction in the amount of $132,597.90 for work completed to date on the TH61/1471h Street Intersection Improvement Project.
