MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2010 Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. PRESENT: Haas, Klein, Petryk, Weidt, Miron ABSENT: None ALSO PRESENT: Community Development Director Bryan Bear, Finance Director Ron Otkin, City Engineer Jay Kennedy, City Attorney Dave Snyder, Parks Planner Shayla Syverson, Community Development Assistant Dennis Fields, and City Clerk Michele Lindau Moment of Silence for Ery Atkinson Mayor Fran Miron called for a moment of silence for the father-in-law of City Administrator Mike Ericson, Ery Atkinson, who passed away on October 28, 2010 after battling brain cancer. Ervin lived in Waverly, MN with his wife Marilyn and is survived by four children and twelve grandchildren. Ervin was 72 years old. Approval of Minutes for the Glamos Ribbon Cutting on October 15, 2010 Weidt made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Glamos Wire held at 5564 152nd Street North for their new office/warehouse addition on October 15, 2010 as presented. All Ayes. Motion carried. Approval of Minutes for City Council Meeting on October 18, 2010 Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the minutes for the October 18, 2010 meeting as presented. All Ayes. Motion carried. Approval of Minutes for the City Hall/Lions Park Neighborhood Meeting October 25, 2010 Weidt made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the October 25, 2010 City Hall/Lions Park Neighborhood meeting held at Hugo City Hall to discuss a potential road improvement project as presented. All Ayes. Motion carried. Approval of the Agenda Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the agenda as amended: Add to Administrative Presentations -Announcement of RCWD Public Hearing on November 8, 2010 Add to Council Presentations - Report from Metropolitan Council Water Supply Review Board Report on Installation Ceremony of MN's 30th Adjutant General All Ayes. Motion carried.
