Minutes for the Hugo City Council Meeting on November 1, 2010 <br />Page 7 of 8 <br />Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to treat Mac as a potentially dangerous dog, requiring the dog <br />be dept in a proper enclosure or on a three foot non -retractable leash, until the appeal could again be <br />considered after the revisions to the Animal Ordinance have been completed. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Discussion on Proposed Parks Ordinance Regulating Public Conduct <br />Discussion on Proposed Tobacco Use/Smoking Policy <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to table the above two items due to the lack of time. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Watershed District Terms Expiring in 2011 <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to table this item due to the lack of time. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD) Public Hearing on November 8, 2010 <br />Staff added this item to the agenda to inform Council that the RCWD will be holding a public <br />hearing on Monday, November 8, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at Hugo City Hall to consider removing or <br />modifying the Judicial Ditch 2 sheetpile weir near Rice Lake. Mayor Fran Miron, on whose <br />property the weir is located, removed himself from the discussion and turned the gavel over to <br />Acting Mayor Becky Petryk. <br />Petryk made motion, Weidt seconded, to direct City Attorney Dave Snyder and WSB Water <br />Resource Engineer Pete Willenbring to attend the public hearing on Monday, November 8, 2010 <br />to discuss the removal of the weir on Judicial Ditch #2, north of Rice Lake. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />
