Hugo City Council Minutes for July 6, 2009 <br />Page 11 of 11 <br />volunteered to apply for the vacancy, and Metro Cities selected her to serve on the Metropolitan <br />Council's TAB. TAB's primary mission involves the allocation of tax payer dollars for <br />transportation projects throughout the Twin Cities area. The Council congratulated <br />Councilmember Petryk on this appointment. Councilmember Petryk stated she would be seeking <br />input from the Council and City Engineer Jay Kennedy on projects in the northeast quadrant of <br />the metro area. <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to direct staff to place on the next I-35 W/E agenda the <br />appointment of Councilmember Petryk to the TAB and discussion on projects. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Schedule Meeting with the Sheriffs Department for Monday, July 20, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. <br />City Staff has been working with the Washington County Sheriff's Department for the past <br />several month on City Hall security issues. Staff is please to report that Commander Mary Stutz <br />will conduct a training session for Mayor and Council and limited staff on Monday, July 20, <br />2009 at 2:00 p.m. Under MN Statute, this training session will be closed to the public since it <br />directly involves City Hall security issues. <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to direct staff to schedule the meeting with the Washington <br />County Sheriff's Department for Monday, July 20, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Hugo City Hall. <br />All Ayes.
