Motion carried. <br />Approval of Claims <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Claims Roster as presented. <br />Approve Resolution for Renewal of 2010 Liquor Licenses and Related Licenses <br />Each year, the City Clerk's office prepares application packets for businesses seeking the <br />renewal of liquor licenses, tobacco licenses and game licenses. Staff has prepared the annual <br />renewal list, which includes certificates of liability insurance, payment of all required fees and <br />taxes, and completion of application materials. City staff recommended Council approved the <br />resolution approving the annual renewal for the 2010 liquor licenses and related licenses, subject <br />to payment of all requested fees, taxes, and certificates of liquor liability insurance. Adoption of <br />the Consent Agenda approved RESOLUTION 2009-47 APPROVING 2010 LIQUOR <br />LICENSES & RELATED LICENSES. <br />Approve 2010 Licenses for Refuse Haulers <br />The City has six refuse haulers who provide refuse collection and recycling services. The <br />haulers are: Maroney's Sanitation; Ace Solid Waste; MN Waste Management; SRC, Inc.; <br />Gene's Disposal; and BFI Waste Services. City staff received renewal applications from all six <br />haulers, and they have paid their annual licensing fee of $165. Walters Recycling and Refuse <br />has also applied to be a new hauler in Hugo for 2010. Walters has paid all fees and completed the <br />background check. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the issuance of 2010 refuse <br />haulers licenses to: Maroney's Sanitation; Ace Solid Waste; MN Waste Management; SRC, <br />Inc.; Gene's Disposal; BFI Waste Services; and Walters Recycling and Refuse. <br />Approve Application for Lawful Gambling Permit for the Hugo Business Association for <br />the Warm Hearts for Charity Event on January 16, 2010 <br />The Hugo Business Association has made application to the City of Hugo for a Charitable <br />Gambling permit in order to conduct a raffle for its Warm Hearts for Charity Wine Tasting Event <br />scheduled for Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the Hugo American Legion. City staff has reviewed <br />the application and found it to be satisfactorily complete. Adoption of the Consent Agenda <br />approved the Charitable Gambling Permit for the Hugo Business Association for its raffle as part <br />of the Warm Hearts for Charity Wine Tasting Event scheduled for January 16, 2010. <br />Approve Renewal of Term for Parks and Recreation Commissioner Roger Clarke <br />City staff has contacted long-time Parks and Recreation Commissioner Roger Clarke to inquire if <br />he wishes to continue to serve on the Commission with his term set to expire December 31, <br />
