MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF MONDAY, JUNE 2, 2008 Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:07 p.m. PRESENT: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron ABSENT: None ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mike Ericson, Community Development Director Bryan Bear, City Attorney Dave Snyder, Public Works Director Chris Petree, Fire Chief Jim Compton, and City Clerk Michele Lindau Moment of Silence Mayor Miron requested a moment of silence to remember the victims of the tornado that struck Hugo on May 25, 2008, where 2 -year old Nathan Prindle was killed and his sister Annika was critically injured and remains hospitalized. The Mayor expresses his condolences to the Prindle family and all those who were impacted by the storm. Approve Minutes for the City Council Meeting of May 19, 2008 Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the May 19, 2008 City Council meeting as presented. All Aye. Motion carried. Approve Minutes for the City Council Workshop of May 20, 2008 — Housing Issues & Administrator Review Haas made motion, Puleo seconded, to approve the minutes for the City Council Workshop where the Council discuss Housing Issues and the City Administrators performance review on May 20, 2008 as presented. All Aye. Motion carried. Approve Minutes for the City Council Meeting of May 20, 2008 — Planning Commission Interviews Petryk made motion, Granger seconded, to approve the minutes for the City Council meeting where the Council conducted interviews for the Planning Commission vacancy on May 20, 2008 as presented. All aye. Motion carried. Approval of the Agenda Add F.3 Appearance from Representative of the Prindle Family Add G.9 Approve Application from Carpenters Steakhouse for 2 a.m. Closing Time Add G.10 Approve Pay Request No. 3 from Arnt Construction for Work Completed to Date on the Rice Lake Soccer Complex
