City Council Meeting of April 21, 2008 <br />Page 3 of 7 <br />Approve Temporary 3.2 Liquor License for Hugo Lions Club for Hugo Good Neighbor Days <br />on June 5-8, 2008 <br />The City has received an application from the Hugo Lions Club for a temporary 3.2 liquor license in <br />order for the Lions to sell 3.2 beer at Hugo Good Neighbor Days scheduled for June 5-8, 2008. City <br />Staff has reviewed the application and found it to be satisfactorily complete with the submittal of the <br />necessary liquor liability insurance coverage. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the <br />temporary 3.2 license for the Hugo Lions so they can sell 3.2 beer at Hugo Good Neighbor Days on <br />June 5-8, 2008. <br />Approve PUD and Preliminary Plat for Rottlund Homes for Victor Gardens North Village 5t—" <br />Addition <br />The applicant is seeking approval of a PUD amendment and a preliminary plat for 72 townhome <br />units. The applicant is proposing the modification in order to develop a different style of townhome <br />than was previously approved. The change results in a reduction in the number of homes on this site <br />from 104 units to 72 units. The Planning Commission reviewed the request at a public hearing on <br />April 10th and voted unanimously to recommend approval of the request. Adoption of the Consent <br />Agenda approved RESOLUTION 2008-12 APPROVING A PUD AMENDMENT FOR THE <br />ROTTLUND COMPANY, INC. FOR "VICTOR GARDENS NORTH VILLAGE 5TH ADDITION" <br />ON PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF ROSEMARY WAY AND EAST OF ELMCREST <br />AVENUE NORTH and RESOUTION 2008-13 APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR THE <br />ROTTLUND COMPANY, INC. FOR "VICTOR GARDENS NORTH VILLAGE 5TH ADDITION" <br />ON PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF ROSEMARY WAY AND EAST OF ELMCREST <br />AVENUE NORTH. <br />Approve Pay Request No. 6 from EnComm Midwest, Inc., for Work Completed on Well House <br />No. 5 <br />The City has received pay request No. 6 from EnComm Midwest, Inc., for work completed to date <br />on the construction of Well House No. 5 . Public Works Director Chris Petree and City Engineer <br />Jay Kennedy have reviewed the pay request and found it to be satisfactory for work completed to <br />date on the new well house. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved pay request No. 6 from <br />EnComm Midwest, Inc., in the amount of $101,541.17 for work competed to date on construction of <br />Well House No. 5. <br />Approve Resignation of Administrative Intern Nate Ehalt <br />Nate Ehalt was hired by the City of Hugo in March 2007 as the City's new administrative intern. <br />For more than a year now, Nate has worked on a wide variety of City projects including back-to- <br />back Hugo Kidz'n Biz Fest event as well as the City's recodification of the City's ordinances, and <br />numerous special projects. The City of Hugo has benefited greatly because of Nate's willingness to <br />contribute to the City's day-to-day operations as well as to gain valuable real life experiences in City <br />administration work. Nate is scheduled to graduate in May, and he will be working hard to get his <br />first real job. On behalf of the City staff and Commissions Nate has worked with, City <br />Administrator Mike Ericson and Mayor Fran Miron thanked Nate for his dedicated service and <br />contributions to the City of Hugo. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the resignation of <br />Administrative Intern Nate Ehalt. <br />
