10.) Community Development Director, Bryan Bear addressed the group <br />a. Discussed presence of the building inspector and the demarcation of <br />homes by sticker <br />b. Red sticker means stay out <br />c. Green sticker means it appears habitable from the outside <br />d. Further inspectors will come tomorrow (Tuesday, May 27) <br />e. Insurance adjusters will be permitted to inspect <br />f. Contractors: <br />i. Some restrictions have been put in place to require credentials <br />of contractors <br />ii. Homeowners should be mindful of indications of a bad <br />contractor — demanding of cash payments and signatures, <br />demanding of licensing <br />g. Clean-up <br />i. Six piles at the curb <br />ii. Dumpsters delivered tomorrow <br />iii. Reviewed day care options: New Life Church and <br />Kindergartens <br />iv. Pets: Pet Resort <br />v. Volunteers will be received Saturday, May 31, 2008, at 8:00 a.m., <br />Washington County Service Center in Forest Lake and transported to <br />the scene <br />b. Trained first responder volunteers will respond tomorrow, May 27, <br />2008 <br />13.) Public Works Director, Chris Petree addressed the group <br />a. He reviewed debris sorting requirements <br />b. Dumpsters will be provided <br />c. Additional volunteers will be put in as the week develops <br />14.) Home Depot has noted that the Home Depot building materials will be <br />available at the <br />Public Works facility <br />15.) Mayor Miron Noted that the: <br />a. Green tagged houses with power are safe <br />b. Red tagged houses are not safe <br />c. As to green houses without power, it is recommended they stay out of <br />those houses <br />
