Vacations., <br />A. Eligibility. <br />1. Regular, full - time salaried employees and regular, <br />part-time employees who are regularly scheduled to <br />work twenty (25) hours or more per week on a year <br />around basis, shall be eligible for an annual paid <br />vacation at their regular rate of pay, with the <br />latter as provided in Subd. 14, B-6. Only work <br />time while the employee is so classified shall <br />count towards vacation eligibility and benefits. <br />2. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than <br />twenty (25) hours per week, as well as hourly, <br />tem orary, or seasonal employees, shall not be <br />eligible for vacation benefits. <br />B. Schedule. <br />1. No vacation time shall be credited to an employee <br />until after six (6) months of continuous <br />employment from date of hire. All regular full <br />time employees of the city after six (6) months of <br />continuous employment shall receive five (5) <br />working days vacation leave with pay. Vacation <br />leave shall not accrue during any period of leave <br />of absence without pay. <br />2. An employee shall earn five -sixths (5/6) of day <br />vacation leave for each full month worked during <br />the first (1st) through the fifth (5th) year cf <br />continuous employment. Beginning with the sixth <br />(6th) year of continuous employment with the City <br />through the fifteenth (15th) year of such <br />continuous employment, an employee shall earn one <br />and one-fourt.h (1 1/4) days vacation leave for <br />each full month worked. <br />Beginning with the sixteenth (16th} year of <br />continuous employment, the employee shall earn one <br />and one-half (1 1/2) days vacation leave for each <br />full month worked. <br />4. Vacation allowance for the City Administrator will <br />be as per contractual agreement. <br />5. No vacation time shall accrue for employees who <br />have been on a lay-off or an authorized leave of <br />absence, without pay, for one (1) month or more. <br />6.
