+�r <br />RESOLUTION 1983-16 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A PERSONNEL POLICY FOR THE CITY OF HUGO. <br />The personnel policy adopted June 4, 1979, is hereby cancelled and replaced by the <br />following: <br />1.0 DEFINITIONS <br />1.1 Standard workweek shall consist of one of the following: <br />1.1A Working forty (40) hours per week. <br />1.1B Working the number of hours per week that is equivalent to, or <br />more than, the set business hours of City Hall. <br />1.1C Working the number of hours per weekthat the City Council has set <br />forth for a position that the said Council has classified as a <br />permanent full-time position. <br />1.2 Permanent full-time employees are those who work the standard workweek <br />year around on a fixed or established schedule. <br />1.3 Permanent part-time employees are those who work less than the standard <br />workweek on a fixed or established schedule. <br />1.4 Temporary employees are those hired on a part-time or full-time basis <br />for a specific task with a specific beginning and ending date. <br />1.5 Benefits shall m9an privileges granted to employees, including vacation <br />leave, sick leave, holiday leave, military leave, and any other benefits <br />approved by the City Council. <br />1.6 Fiscal year shall be January 1 through December 31, inclusive. <br />1.7 Immediate Family - Spouse, mother, father, mother-in-law, father-in-law, <br />sister, brother, child, or step -child. <br />1.8 Probationary period - The six month period immediately following date of <br />initial employment or following change of employment status or following <br />promotion or reassignment. <br />1.9 Overtime shall consist of those hours which are worked in excess of forty.. <br />(40)hours in a given week. Overtime hours shall entitle the employee to <br />compensatory time off on an hour -for -hour basis. <br />1.10 Years of Service - To be determined by the number of years the employee <br />has worked in its entirety from January 1, to December 31. <br />
